Receiving/Stand-Up Forklift Driver - Night Shift Your role our team Join WITRON as a Loading/Stand-Up Forklift Driver! We're looking for a dedicated Receiving/Stand Up Forklift to join our dynamic team! If you're skilled in operating forklifts, balers, compactors, and more, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you!
As a Loading Forklift Driver , you will: - Utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials following safety instructions and guidelines.
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility and stack them in the correct storage bays.
- Check that loads are secure and stack empty pallets safely.
- Count, weigh, or measure items of outgoing shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading, or other records.
- Assemble cardboard or wooden containers or select pre-assembled containers for use.
- Examine and unpack incoming shipments, record shortages, and reject damaged items.
- Operate lift trucks or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage areas.
- Check outbound inventory and administer the processing, trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Sort, count, identify, verify, and track all materials using various systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
Requirements: - Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Experience with stand-up, cherry picker, reach truck, electric pallet jack required.
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards is required.
- Good math, language, and reading skills are essential for verifying shipment details and maintaining records.
- Previous experience with material handling automation is a plus.
- Ability to work shifts as assigned, including nights and weekends, and to work overtime as needed.
