Key Responsibilities:

• Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth through daily engagement, mentorship, and individualized support.
• Develop and implement structured programming grounded in youth development models such as Positive Youth Development (PYD), restorative practices, and strengths-based approaches.
• Facilitate group sessions, workshops, and activities that promote life skills, socio-emotional learning, leadership, and academic growth.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to identify youth needs, strengths, and goals; collaborate with the team to create individualized service plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and conflict resolution using trauma-informed and restorative techniques.
• Maintain consistent communication with caregivers, schools, and community partners to support youth progress.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment by monitoring daily activities and enforcing program expectations.
• Document all interactions, incidents, and progress notes in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills in youth engagement and behavioral interventions.
• Serve as a positive role model, promoting respect, responsibility, inclusivity, and healthy communication.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Progressive experience working with youth in community-based, school-based, or residential settings.
• Strong understanding of youth development frameworks, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage crises, resolve conflicts, and maintain composure in challenging situations.
