Axios Professional Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Territory Manager. This position would be fully remote, but candidates must reside within 75-100 miles of Washington, DC. Candidates must be in a location where they can commute to the assigned territory.

The Territory Sales Manager position is an individual contributor where you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth through Business Development by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the genetic testing and pathogen testing sectors.

You will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and scientific research, to build relationships with key stakeholders and deliver tailored solutions to clients in need of genetic testing services, including diagnostics, personalized medicine, and pathogen detection.

Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities : Research and identify potential clients within the healthcare sectors. Develop and execute strategies to target new business and expand relationships with existing clients.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution : Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies for increasing market share and revenue within the genetic and pathogen testing industry.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, including hospitals, clinicians, OB/GYN’s, Insurance companies, etc.
  • Market Intelligence : Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, ensuring that the company's offerings remain competitive and innovative.
  • Industry Networking : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to build the brand and establish valuable connections

Territory Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience working genetic & pathogen testing in the women’s health space.
  • Laboratory experience is a MUST HAVE – understanding products, practices, and ensuring proper communication with prospects.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to entire territory for face to face meetings within a 250-mile radius.
