On our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government ensuring the space, ground and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user needs. You will provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. You Have 12+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, or PCA 2+ years of experience with performing the risk management process on space, ground, software, and hardware systems for Major Defense Acquisition Programs Experience with identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, and opportunities, and managing handling plans Experience with using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively both on a cross functional team and independently, demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science Nice If You Have 2+ years of experience with the Military Satellite Communications Mission area 2+ years of experience with space acquisition Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies Experience with Confluence or JIRA Experience working with software factories or DevSecOps pipelines Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science Agile Certification such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, the individual’s education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
