Job Description

We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate with a positive attitude who must be Board Certified (ABCP) or eligible with at least 0-5 years of experience as a practicing Clinical Perfusionist for an established heart program in Weston, Florida. New grads may be considered.

***Candidate must have graduated from an accredited American school and be American Board certified (CCP) or CCP eligible.​​​***

Candidates should also possess the following:

1. Ability to adapt to a challenging clinical environment.
2. Must possess good communication and troubleshooting skills.
3. Must be able to practice evidence based medicine; also to advise and participate in clinical decisions with a team approach.
4. Experience with blood management is preferred.
5. Must be willing to relocate to Weston, FL or the immediate surrounding area.
6. Must enjoy working with fast, talented surgeons.
7. Part-time perfusionists "may" be considered.

Epic Cardiovascular occupies a unique position in the industry, offering ample opportunity for professional growth through its diverse business approach. The candidate would be joining an established heart program in Vero Beach that will be expanding the perfusion team to 6 perfusionists. This account boasts a fast, efficient heart program performing over 400 total cardiac procedures. Liver transplants, HIPEC, ECMO, VAD and Cardiac transplantation. Four surgeons lead this program as one of the busiest on the Atlantic coast.
