The ideal candidate will have a passion for both historic preservation and innovative new construction projects and will excel in managing luxury, high-end client expectations. You will be a key player in our design team, providing leadership and mentorship to junior architects and draftspersons. **Responsibilities:** - Lead architectural design projects from concept to completion. - Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and deliver exceptional design solutions. - Oversee project management, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. - Coordinate with the design team and draftspersons to produce detailed drawings and specifications. - Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to plans. - Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies. - Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture. - Minimum of 7 years of architectural design experience. - Proven experience in both historic preservation and new construction projects. - Strong portfolio showcasing high-end, luxury projects. - Excellent leadership and project management skills. - Proficiency in Revit - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Licensed Architect qualified to stamp and seal plans in South Carolina. - Must be able to live or drive to downtown Charleston daily during working hours. **Compensation:** - Competitive salary. - Performance-based bonus incentives. **Cozy Studio** is an equal opportunity employer.
