Job Description

The research assistant will do a variety of different tasks including preparing interview questions and collecting data. Conducting research experiments and also analyzes data and summarizes results.

Description

• Participates and assists in research and academic activities
• Collaborates with all members of the research program
• Prepares interview questions and collects data.
• Conducts research experiments.
• Analyzes data and summarizes results.
• Fact checks and proofreads manuscripts.
• Generates graphs and spreadsheets to portray results
• Participates in research activities; assists the research team in identifying appropriate potential candidates for research protocols and preparation of research documents
• Retrieves academic/research articles
• Performs related duties as required

Profile

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience
• Bright, self-motivated and highly organized
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to problem solve
• Orientation to detail, ability to maintain accurate records, and handle multiple projects and interact with staff at all levels
• Computer skills and strong communication skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as with others
