A health services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to their growing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity: - Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
- Patient Volume: 5 to 8 clients per day
- EMR: Awards
Responsibilities:
- Medication administration (oral and intramuscular)
- Monitoring medication side effects and adherence
- Phlebotomy
- Coordination of healthcare services for consumers
- Providing psychoeducation on health and medications
- Assessing consumers' mental statuses
- Completing required documentation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of nursing experience with adults
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with homelessness, justice involvement, or limited social support
- Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Nursing
- Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
