Job Description

As an ENTRY LEVEL Proofreader on the Production Team, you will be responsible for proofing/editing marketing materials and client deliverables produced by our creative team prior to client review, approval, and print. Specific responsibilities include proofreading/editing direct email and mail campaigns, websites, and digital elements to ensure quality control is maintained at the highest levels. This is an ENTRY LEVEL, full-time, salaried, remote position. Employee must be located within the Continental U.S., eastern or central time zone preferred , but all are welcome to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and evaluate client deliverables for content, grammar, style, and accuracy, as well as relevance to the selected campaign Work collaboratively in a team environment with designers to proactively resolve inaccuracies Manage and update work assignments via company's internal CRM platform Maintain schedule of deadlines for printing and mailing REQUIREMENTS: BS or BA degree in English or related field 0-2 years' professional experience proofreading/editing OR the equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved Excellent proofing/editing skills Excellent computer competency and adept at learning new digital platforms Outstanding attention to detail and organization Proficient in MS Office products; knowledge of Excel is a plus! A familiarity of publication formats Ability and desire to accurately perform repetitive tasks Must have a team-player attitude, forward-thinking mentality, ability to give constructive input and take direction well Compensation This is ENTRY LEVEL position offers an annual salary starting at $40,000, commensurate with experience.
