We are seeking a dependable, skilled cook to prepare home-style, flavorful meals in a private residence. The ideal candidate will be able to plan menus, cook a variety of traditional and modern dishes, accommodate dietary needs, and maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen. A passion for food, attention to detail, and discretion are essential.

Work Schedule Options

Part-Time

• 2-4 days per week
• Focus on meal prep (lunch/dinner or multiple meals in advance)
• Flexible timing

Full-Time

• 56 days per week, full-day coverage
• Includes all meals, grocery runs, and occasional special events

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh meals
• Plan weekly menus based on household preferences and health goals
• Customize meals for dietary requirements
• Shop for groceries or coordinate delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Prepare snacks, chutneys, pickles, or other accompaniments if requested
• Serve meals and/or package for storage and reheating
• Maintain pantry and manage meal inventory

Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years experience cooking in private households or as a personal chef
• Understanding of nutrition and special dietary considerations
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate (as required)
• Professional, discreet, and respectful of household privacy
• Good communication and time management skills
