Swing Shift Parking Lot Cleaner

Job Description

Join our team as a Street/Parking Lot Cleaner, where you will be responsible for visiting assigned properties each night throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. This role requires you to perform various cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and order of the designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive street sweeper to designated locations.
• Sweep walkways, sidewalks, parking lots, and other assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Operate a leaf blower to aid in cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness by collecting and removing litter and debris from premises, including parking lots and landscaping.
• Perform other exterior cleaning tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the insurance company.
• Understanding and adherence to basic safety precautions, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrated track record of dependability.
• Ability to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, cleaning, janitorial duties, industrial cleaning, and custodial work.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
• Experience in housekeeping and construction is advantageous.

Work Environment

This role involves an overnight schedule working outdoors, which requires wearing appropriate attire such as boots or rain boots to adapt to weather conditions. You will work both independently and with a team as needed. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 PM to 1 AM, with specific days dedicated to pressure washing and street sweeping. Expect an average of 20-25 hours per week, with potential adjustments based on weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
