A Nephrology Physician specializing in pediatric kidney care provides outpatient clinic services and inpatient coverage, including hospital rounding and on-call duties. They perform specialized procedures such as renal biopsies, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis. The role requires board certification, relevant licenses, and experience in managing complex kidney-related treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Contract Length: 1 year
Schedule: Clinic Mon Thu 8 am 5 pm; Inpatient call 8 am 8 am
Work Details:
- Amount of Coverage needed per month: 3 weeks Outpatient Clinic, weekly Inpatient call consists of 8 hours of rounding in the hospital and night call during the week, and 24hour call on weekends.
- Special procedures: Renal biopsies in Sedation Services, CRRT, hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (Inpatient Services)
- Skills required: Apheresis, CRRT, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis (Inpatients)
Practice Setting - EMR: EPIC
- Board Certification: Required
- License required: OH will license a provider with an IMLC license
- Certifications required: ABP (American Board of Pediatrics) Board Certification in Pediatric Nephrology
- Minimum experience required: 3 years
