Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced NDT Inspectors for projects located in the Newport News, VA area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. Job Scope:

• General examinations cover basic test principles relative to the applicable method
• Specific examinations cover the equipment operating procedures and test techniques that candidates may encounter in their specific assignment
• Other tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the field
• Must have Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle & Visual Testing Inspector II certifications
• Must be able to pass a written general theory and procedure specific examinations for the applicable methods
• Must have passed practical examinations for the applicable methods in which they have demonstrated ability to operate the necessary NDT equipment and record and analyze the resultant information
• Must be Safety Harness and Respirator qualified
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry
