Salary:

• Install insulation on mechanical systems such as pipes, ductwork, and equipment to control temperature and prevent energy loss.
• Work with various insulation materials like fiberglass, foam, and reflective barriers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine insulation requirements.
• Apply insulation to both hot and cold systems, including refrigeration and cold storage.
• Ensure safety and compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Collaborate with contractors and other trades on construction or retrofit projects.
• Ideally someone that has federal project experience or is able to get on base.
• Attention to detail and precision in cutting and fitting insulation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with design-build projects and construction processes is a plus.
