Hourly Rate: $18.82 ($19.53/hr if you are Instructing) Seasonal (December-March) Part Time (2-3 Shifts a week) As a Lifeguard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring guests have a safe and enjoyable time at the pool. Along with providing excellent customer service, you'll create a welcoming and secure atmosphere where everyone can relax and have fun. If you love working with people and staying active by the water, this is the perfect role for you!
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?- Act appropriately in emergency procedures (as trained);
- Make recommendations to Supervisor on any related issues that will enhance guest experience;
- Maintain a clean facility at all times including performing cleaning duties of entrance ways, lobby, multi-purpose and first aid rooms, pool, deck and change rooms;
- Ensure pool decks, chairs, hot tub areas and equipment are cleaned and well organized;
- Follow up on guest requests, questions and concerns in a prompt and attentive manner;
- Enforce pool rules, ex. smoking, drinking, and reserving chairs etc.;
- Document any damage or maintenance deficiencies and missing inventory items;
- Interact with guests and homeowners to provide accurate resort information.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?- NL Certification required
- First Aid with CPR 'C' required
- Recertification of awards to remain current will be required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must be 15 years or older as per Ontario Legislation
