Salary: 50k to 75k annually
Life center counseling is seeking a compassionate and dedicated licensed counselor (Indiana license) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional counseling services integrated with faith-based principles, supporting clients in addressing emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges. The counselor will work with individuals (adults and children), couples, and families, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health that respects and incorporates the clients' faith and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to understand client's needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Document all intakes, therapy sessions, treatment plans, progress notes and any other required information in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other counselors, and medical professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide consultations and referrals as needed.
- Will stay current with the latest research, best practices, and continuing education requirements.
- Will participate in regular individual and group supervision training, and team meetings.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling or marriage and family counseling.
- Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or an LMHC.
- An understanding of integrating faith with counseling practices.
