Position Title: Entry Level / Junior Marketing Associate

Job Summary

The Junior Marketing Associate will work their way to being a key liaison between Simplicity Groups marketing programs and our customer, the independent financial advisor/agent. With an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to help independent financial advisors/agents succeed with their event related marketing efforts, the Junior Marketing Associate will help implement the marketing programs that Simplicity Group offers. The Junior Marketing Associate will be trained to coach advisors/agents on marketing best practices, help them plan and execute marketing events and hold them accountable through the successful implementation process with a focus on results.

Primary Responsibilities

• Act as the key marketing contact for the independent financial advisors/agents you serve, coordinating their marketing efforts with direction from Simplicity Sales and Marketing leadership.
• Facilitate consumer focused marketing events and digital programs that result in helping advisors/agents get in front of highly qualified prospects.
• Ensure effective communication between advisors/agents and our sales team on all Simplicity marketing initiatives.
• Effectively communicate and gather unique information to understand where Simplicity marketing programs may fit into an individual advisors/agents practice. Use this information to help implement and execute key marketing strategies.
• Assist with implementation and ongoing service of marketing systems for advisors.
• Support the Sales Team by providing outstanding customer service to financial advisors/agents, at times unrelated to marketing.
• Support the Marketing Team by helping with corporate events, campaigns, program development, and any other outstanding tasks laid out by the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related field
• Previous marketing, agency, annuity, insurance and/or finance experience is preferred, but not necessary
• Positive attitude and focus on team success are a must

Compensation

• Base salary of $55,000-60,000
• Monthly commission opportunity
• Annual target bonus (up to 5% of base salary)
