Family Peer Advocate Bronx, NY ( Job Type Full-time Description Maintains a close and supportive relationship with assigned families, assists them in coping effectively with their environment, and encourages participation in their child's educational program. Helps each family identify community resources and acts as a liaison between them. Services will be rendered according to agency philosophy and program performance standards. Requirements High School Diploma, Be the parent or primary caregiver of a child with emotional and behavioral challenges, for which navigation of child serving systems was necessary.
