Title: ETL QA Tester - 100% Remote

Contract: 8/14/2023 - 2/28/2025

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Tester with experience in testing ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse, and Cloud Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our data is accurately and efficiently migrated from various sources into our data warehouse, as part of an agile scrum team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily:

• Work with product owners and scrum team to understand acceptance criteria and translate them into test cases
• Execute ETL test cases to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
• Identify, document, and track defects in ETL processes
• Develop and maintain ETL testing scripts using SQL and other automation tools
• Participate in all scrum activities

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ETL/ELT testing, Data Warehouse, and Cloud Applications

Technical Skills

• Proficient in SQL and other automation testing tools
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in testing Cloud applications like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus

Skills & Abilities

• A technically inclined, self-starter who is detail-oriented
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Strong organization, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Basic leadership skills
• Proven ability to be prompt, dependable, and trustworthy
• Ability to quickly understand relevant business knowledge

*Previous Apex CE is a HUGE PLUS
