With competitive pay, benefits, and career development opportunities there is a genuinely supportive environment for long-term employee growth.   Job Summary   Primary responsibility will be safely operating material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and/or clamper trucks or attachments.  May also perform various warehouse duties related to the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods, consolidation of warehoused products, and replenishment of pick locations.   Job Description   Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and/or clamper trucks or attachments. Safely and properly unload the product trailer, verify the load for accuracy, and stage for put-away. Pull orders from the warehouse location and utilize a conveyor system for sorting & staging Load semi-trucks & smaller box trucks according to delivery requirements Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools to maintain proper inventory levels and proper location of goods in the warehouse. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed. Interact with associates during the hand-off from shift to shift.  Will frequently interact with delivery personnel, and the early morning receiving crew. May also perform an array of warehouse duties related to the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods, consolidation of warehoused products, and replenishment of pick locations as well as necessary warehouse functions such as pulling customer orders, loading/unloading trucks, inventory control, and general housekeeping Additional responsibilities as assigned   Skills Required   ~1+ year(s) of consistent experience operating power equipment (forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc.) ~1+ year(s) of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience ~ Upon conversion to FTE, required to obtain power equipment certification Technical Skills: ~1+ year forklift experience ~ Cherry picker ~ Heavy-lifting ~ Lift 38-45 lbs. consistently ~ Loading ~ Material handling ~ Order fulfillment ~ Packer ~ Pick and Pack   Education/Training/Certifications ~ High School Diploma or GED   Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check Throughout shift, consistently lifting 35-48lbs and occasionally moving (pushing, dragging) up to 100lbs. Dress code: Clean, casual/comfortable garments appropriate for warehouse and inclement weather Clothing must promote a safe, professional, and productive environment - No obscene images, profanity, or otherwise disturbing content Shorts are acceptable but should be longer than mid-thigh No skin-tight, see-through, or baggy clothing. No loose jewelry and long hair must be removed from the face Long fingernails are not ideal for this environment Sturdy, comfortable closed-toe, closed-back shoes are required - MUST BE WAREHOUSE APPROPRIATE (Steel-toes are not required, but Crocs, sandals, 'Ugg' boots, or anything of the like is not permitted. Comfortable boots or athletic shoes are best suited.)
