Job Overview:We are seeking an Entry Level Java Developer to join our team in Boston, MA. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications. Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement Java-based applications- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java programming language- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance- Assist with the integration of Java applications with other systems and platforms- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software development
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field- Strong knowledge of Java programming language- Familiarity with other programming languages such as C, JavaScript, or VBA is a plus- Experience with web development frameworks such as React Express is a plus- Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL- Knowledge of RESTful web services and API integration- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
