For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: Job Summary Summary: As a Dishwasher with Levy at UW - Madison, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Your attention to detail ensures that all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas are spotless, following the highest standards of sanitation and safety. If you’re a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, essential role, we want you to join our kitchen team! Key Responsibilities: Scrape, rinse and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment. Remove trash and waste, placing it in designated containers. Wash garbage cans to maintain a hygienic kitchen space. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring they are kept clean and safe. Maintain dishwashing area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and report any issues to the supervisor. Assist with other tasks as assigned to ensure overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen. Qualifications: Restaurant experience is preferred. Ability to be on your feet for long hours and move 20-40 lbs. A strong willingness to contribute to a positive, team oriented work environment. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
