Job Description
The
Computer Operator is responsible for the proactive monitoring and primary level support of the centralized and distributed computer systems. Monitors and controls the operating systems, on-line applications and batch application processing, and all related hardware equipment.
Duties:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Technical problem-solving expertise
- Basic PC and Network hardware/software knowledge
- Technical knowledge of the hardware and software of IBM iSeries computers
- Ability to identify and resolve problems
- LAN Administration and security
- Strong verbal, writing and analytical skills for communication
- Able to interact positively with others.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate. Computer Science Degree or related experience
- Three (3) years of computer related operations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
