LAD Truck Lines is a family owned and operated trucking, logistics and warehousing company based in Watkinsville, GA. We focus in full truckload transportation of refrigerated and dry products throughout the country. LAD is primarily asset based with a brokerage arm.

LAD is based in Oconee County, Watkinsville, GA home to one of the states top school systems and communities. Close to the University of Georgia, Lake Oconee, Lake Hartwell, Lake Lanier and beautiful state parks all around. Watkinsville/Oconee County is a great place to be.

We are looking for an Experienced Carrier Sales/brokerage rep to assist in building and maintaining our brokerage operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Source and procure carrier services through negotiation on a spot or transactional basis while meeting company margin goals.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of customer freight.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective carriers.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Assess customer needs and communicate with management.
• Build new and current customer relationships.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to work and learn in a fast past environment.
• Competitave and driven with problem solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Skill with Windows Based Computer.
• Experience with Mcleod Software preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of brokerage experience preferred.
