SENIOR BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious, mid-sized New York City law firm seeks an attorney with 4-7 years of experience in Bankruptcy and Restructuring representing clients in out-of-court restructurings and complex Chapter 11 cases. The firm's clients include banks, finance companies, hedge funds, factors, and insurance companies. The firm represents secured creditors, debtors, unsecured creditors’ committees, and individual unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 cases filed throughout the country.

Preferred experience includes counseling clients on distressed situations, corporate governance, insolvency, restructuring, and bankruptcy. Looking for an Associate with experience drafting DIP financing and cash collateral motion practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-7 years of law firm experience working on a variety of bankruptcy and insolvency matters including drafting DIP financing and cash collateral motion practice.
• Candidate who is a personable, hardworking, self-starter. Must have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and exceptional analytical and writing skills.
• Must be admitted and a member in good standing of New York bar to apply

Work environment: 4 days in office, midtown NYC

Salary Range: 280-380K base, depending on experience
