Job Description
Under general supervision, the Assembler will perform tasks related to the assembly of precision components or subsystems involving both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies. This includes executing test and verification procedures for complex assemblies using defined production processes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform assigned tasks
Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems
Perform complex bonding and curing procedures
Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation
Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree (A.S.) preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for short durations
Demonstrated ability to learn on the job
1 to 2 years of experience in a related technical field
Preferred experience in PCB assembly
Meticulous attention to detail
