*Description:*

Key to Life Childcare is looking for a full-time 4K Teacher starting January 5, 2026. The 4K teacher will develop and implement daily lesson plans that meets the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs of children in the classroom. They will also work closely with the DC Everest School District.

*Experience/Skills:*

* Previous experience working with students or teaching at preschool, 4K, or Kindergarten level.
* Successful experience working cooperatively with parents, staff, and community.
* Successful experience working with students of all abilities.
* Ability to create and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom consistent with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards.
* Ability to plan and maintain developmentally appropriate classroom climate utilizing positive behavioral intervention strategies.

*Certification:*

* Must hold a valid WI DPI Early Childhood, Prekindergarten, or Kindergarten Teacher license or be able to obtain certification at the 4K or K level.
* Candidates with a bachelor’s degree (non-teaching) or teachers not licensed at the EC, PK, or Kindergarten level that are willing/able to pursue teacher certification through an approved educator preparation program may be considered.
