Occupational Health Registered Nurse (OHN)needed for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Arlington, Texas 76010.

Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 pm-6:30 Am 

This individual is responsible for providing emergency care, first aid and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders. This position requires the knowledge of prevention of illness & injury, protection from work related and environmental hazards, and promotion and restoration of health. RN will maintain accurate records related to OSHA, Workers’ Compensation and corporate reporting. Motivated to work independently in on-site large facility.

• Proficient with electronic medical records and basic computer programs/software

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administers professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
• Performs and evaluates various clinical and diagnostic tests
• Assists plant physician in minor surgical procedures
• Interviews and documents medical history of employees
• Works effectively with the Health Services team and other departments
• Maintains appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy
• Performs and documents physical exams
• Adheres to common practices and procedures throughout the department
• Maintains equipment and supplies
• Assists with the promotion of plant wellness programs
• Interfaces with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner

What you Need to Bring to the Table:

• RN Diploma/Associate degree required, BSN or BS preferred
• Valid RN license in the state
• Two or more years’ nursing experience preferred, ER or Occupational Health preferred
• COHN certification preferred
