Summary
As a Fabricator/Welder at our Metal Works, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to meet project specifications. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and durability of our products, contributing to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
Interpret and work from blueprints and shop drawings to fabricate metal components.
Perform welding tasks using various techniques, amd processes
Utilize hand tools and machinery, including band saws ironworker, press brake, shear etc. to shape and assemble metal parts.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance before delivery.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations while operating equipment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding, with proficiency in various welding techniques.
Strong ability to read blueprints and shop drawings, accurately.
Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in metalworking processes.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Experience with sheet metal work is preferred but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment or solo.
