Job Summary
Abacus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead for 3rd shift to oversee daily operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing inventory control within our distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products within the warehouse.
• Implement and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics and improve overall efficiency.
• Capable of operating forklifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a 3PL or e-commerce setting.
• Overnight shift - subject to change - Saturday - Wednesday.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and collaboration.
• Previous experience in a distribution center is highly desirable.
