We're looking for a dedicated full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join a dynamic educational team. This remote role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in students' lives, particularly those in underserved or remote areas, through teletherapy. You will provide essential specialized support, helping students reach their full potential from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality virtual instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Work with a caseload of approximately 110 students across Pre-K to 12th grade.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the needs of students.
Foster an engaging and inclusive virtual learning environment.
Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve academic and personal goals.
Requirements:
Valid Texas licensure as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT).
Basic proficiency in using computers and telecommunication tools for virtual learning.
