As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us. We are urgently hiring for a Vietnamese-speaking caregiver to assist a client in Pearland/Manvel, TX (77578). This position requires experience with dementia care and a reliable commitment to steady shifts. Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Pearland/Manvel, TX 77578)Shifts Available: Day Shift – 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Responsibilities: * Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care. * Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor. * Provide companionship and emotional support, with a special focus on dementia care needs. * Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities. * Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment. * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care. Requirements: * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Prior caregiving experience with dementia patients strongly preferred. * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required. * Ability to pass a background check and reference check. * Must be fluent in Vietnamese to effectively communicate with the client. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients. * Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home). * Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
