MULTIMEDIA VIDEOGRAPHER AND PHOTOGRAPHER - Hamilton Island Are you a passionate visual storyteller who loves capturing moments that matter? Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Multimedia Videographer and Photographer to join our Events and Activities team , creating high-quality photo and video content that showcases one of Australia’s most iconic destinations. From weddings and proposals to special events and marketing projects, you’ll bring Hamilton Island ’s brand and stories to life through compelling, on-brand visual content. Why you’ll love working with us Variety and creativity - no two days are the same, with shoots across weddings, corporate events, and island experiences Collaborative team culture - work alongside a talented and supportive Photography and Videography team Live and work in paradise - enjoy subsidised staff accommodation and access to staff-only activities Exclusive employee benefits - discounts on dining, island activities, health and travel insurance, plus Family & Friends accommodation rates Where you’ll make an impact Capture and produce exceptional photo and video content across a range of genres, lighting conditions and environments Edit and deliver polished, high-quality work using professional software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop Manage projects end-to-end, from client consultation to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met Build strong relationships with event planners, clients, and stakeholders to deliver memorable visual experiences Maintain and manage professional-standard equipment for reliability and performance Support marketing and social media teams with creative, engaging content that reflects Hamilton Island ’s premium brand Identify and develop new creative initiatives to evolve the island’s visual identity What we’re looking for You’re a skilled and motivated creative who’s equally comfortable behind the camera and in post-production. You take pride in your craft, love working with people, and thrive on bringing stories to life through stunning visuals. To be successful, you’ll need: Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in videography and photography with a strong focus on weddings Minimum two (2) years’ experience with both photo and video editing software A professional portfolio required to show us your skills Expert handling of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, drones, gimbals, audio and other professional-standard equipment as the industry requires. Access to professional-standard photography and videography equipment. Technology Proficient: strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook High competency in Mac-based hardware and software A natural storyteller who understands how to capture attention and drive engagement through the visual content we work on. Valid Driver’s Licence Bonus (but not essential): other graphic design skills, drone experience, Curiosity and drive to experiment with new tools, techniques, and AI.
