About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Design/Sr. Landscape Design Architect to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a department of junior architects and designers, as well as leading the design process from initial client meetings to the delivery of high-quality, on-time, and on-budget projects. This role requires a professional with a strong background in high-end landscape design, particularly in the NE region, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. The VP Design will be involved in all aspects of the design process, including creating design and 3D models, permitting, estimating, pricing, and ordering materials. A Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or horticulture is preferred. The ideal candidate for the VP Design/Sr. Landscape Design Architect position at the company will have a proven track record in high-end landscape design and be adept at managing a team to ensure the successful execution of projects. The role demands a creative individual who can bring innovative design concepts to life and is capable of handling the technical aspects of the design process. The candidate should be a strong communicator, able to interact with clients, and lead a team effectively. A Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or horticulture is preferred, and the candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
