About The Role We’re looking for a full-time Senior Unity Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development of high-quality mobile games, from concept through to launch. You’ll work closely with product, backend, and design teams to bring new games to life, with a particular focus on casual and hypercasual titles that deliver exceptional gameplay experiences. As a Senior Unity Developer, you will translate design ideas and product requirements into functional and engaging experiences. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing game engines, building new features, and ensuring our games stand out in terms of playability, polish, and performance. Location: Remote (U.S. Residents only) Key Responsibilities Lead the ideation, planning, and production of new mobile games from start to finish Contribute to the development process with innovative suggestions and high coding standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality, customer-focused products Implement new game features in coordination with product and backend teams Drive development for THNDR’s casual/hypercasual portfolio with top-tier gameplay, graphics, and animations Maintain, debug, and optimize core game engines and development tools Minimum Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience in Unity development and mobile game production Proven track record of publishing a mobile game from concept to release Strong understanding of gameplay programming principles Ability to manage development tasks independently with attention to detail Proficiency in C# and Unity development environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative team Fluent in written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications Interest in Bitcoin and the Lightning Network Familiarity with publishing games on the App Store and Google Play Experience giving feedback and mentoring team members Demonstrated success in launching and maintaining mobile games Benefits Competitive salary with significant opportunities for career growth Fully remote role with flexible working hours High level of ownership and the ability to make an impact Dedicated time for research, creativity, and experimentation Access to modern tools including Unity, Rider, TeamCity, Fastlane, Scrum, Jira, Git, and Unit Testing Equal Opportunity THNDR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
