\n\nJob Description\n

The Clinical Leader for the Wound Care Program provides clinical leadership to enhance the quality of care and outcomes for patients with wounds. This role requires collaboration with wound care experts to establish and maintain high standards of care across multiple hospitals and programs.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Establish leadership in the wound care program and collaborate with medical leadership on initiatives.
\n
• Develop and deploy evidence-based clinical protocols for wound management.
\n
• Analyze wound patterns across programs and identify performance improvement activities.
\n
• Create educational modules for internal and external stakeholders, including resources for patients and families.
\n
• Coordinate competency evaluations and testing in collaboration with clinical departments.
\n
• Maintain a database to track staff education, competency, and credentials.
\n
• Work alongside the Education Department to ensure all educational initiatives align with departmental goals.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Valid State RN License
\n
• Wound Care Certified (WCC) required; CWCN, CWOCN, or CWS preferred
\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
\n
• BLS certification prior to the first shift
\n
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience
\n
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills
