\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week (48-hour contracts available upon request)
\n• Overtime applies after 52 hours on 48-hour contracts
\n• Every third weekend required
\n• Every other holiday required
\n• Float requirement: First to float within skillset to other campuses with 2-hour notice
\n• Mid-shift float within same campus possible
\n• Cross-campus floating to locations 8-11 miles apart
\n• Patient ratio: 1:5-7 on nights
\n• Charge nurse takes full assignment on nights
\n• Required certifications: Current active compact license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
\n• Minimum 2 years strong Med/Surg experience and 1 travel assignment required
\n• Recent EPIC charting experience required with checkoff class
\n• Navy blue scrubs required with no competing health system or agency logos
\n• 3 call-ins can result in termination
\n• May require precepting of students and new hires
\n• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills essential
\n• Skills include: PIV insertion, chest tube/drain management, CBI, drip management, PEGs/NGs, ostomy care, remote telemetry, blood product administration, NIHSS/dysphagia screening
\n• Patient population includes: gallbladder, colectomy, appendectomy, hip/knee replacements, ORIFs, GI bleeds, CHF, COPD, sepsis, UTI, respiratory conditions
