ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:4, or 1:3 for post-surgical patients in first 24 hours
\n• 18-bed Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) supporting intermediate care and downgraded CVICU patients
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• Must have 1 year of experience with this patient population
\n• Required to titrate drips including Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Nicardipine, Epinephrine, Cardizem, and blood pressure management medications
\n• Care for patients with cardiac and vascular diagnoses including Cath Lab procedures, CVAs, CHF, A fib RVR
\n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
\n• Floating requirements to all same level and lower acuity units
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
\n• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% or higher
\n• Unit-specific orientation tailored to needs and experience, typically 1-2 shifts
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
\n• EPIC charting system
\n• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and Nasal Cannula

\nThis Level 1 trauma center operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced cardiac and vascular services. The facility features a specialized cardiovascular unit that heavily supports thoracic programs, electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization lab, and structural heart procedures. The organization maintains 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage with cardiology on-call services, along with round-the-clock respiratory therapy support and remote telemetry monitoring capabilities.
