Description:
Ensure patients are correctly positioned and prepared for CT scans, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety and obtain optimal imaging results.
Operate CT scanners to capture high-resolution images, adjusting settings as necessary to meet diagnostic requirements.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on CT equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Certification Requirements:
Must have ARRT (R)(RT), (CT).
Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS): Current certification by the American Heart Association.
Experience:
Prior Epic and Toshiba experience preferred.
Minimum of six months as a radiologic technologist, including experience with fluoroscopy.
