Job Title: TM Receivables Product Specialist
Location: Denver, CO
What you'll do: We are seeking an experienced, sales/business development-focused individual who is passionate about increasing fee income and client adoption rate for the Receivables Product Suite (eZePay-Biller Direct EBPP Platform, Lockbox, Remote Deposit Capture, Cash Vault, Smart Safe and Merchant Services) to join the Western Alliance Bank Product Management Team in the role of Receivables Product Specialist. The Product Specialist is an indirect sales support position that is a liaison between Product Management and the Sales Teams. This person is a Subject Matter Expert, working with the Sales Team to help position the assigned products to our customers. The focus of this role is to help provide the value proposition that supports revenue growth initiatives.
This person will track sales and pipeline efforts, perform client demonstrations and presentations. This person will also assist the Product Manager in executing all phases of the product life cycle from product concept, business case development, product development, pricing, and positioning. In addition, will maintain knowledge of compliance and reporting needs and provide analysis regarding profitability and understand market trends.
What we are looking for: - Become the subject matter expert on capabilities and target markets of the Receivables Product Suite assigned to be a resource for the sales team to generate sales.
- Understand the full range of reasons "why" a customer would purchase these products and understand the entire sales lifecycle, implementation, technology, operational, legal, compliance, and customer service processes and issues for a successful client experience.
- Provide training, assist with client demos, pricing, benefits, and product enhancements education to internal Divisional line staff, clients and prospects to support sales growth
- Provide the mechanism for feedback from customers and sales teams on the product experience and capabilities, so that the product management team can adjust as necessary to grow the business.
- Prepare customer presentation materials, working with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance areas to present WAB receivables products in the best light for revenue growth.
- Help to maintain and monitor sales pipelines for the products assigned. Working with the Sales teams to ensure accuracy and customer follow-up
- Help to monitor the successful implementation of a customer from the end sales to actual go live with the product. This ends with the appropriate billing of the customer for the services.
- Work with the appropriate areas to ensure all enhancements are installed correctly, without incident. Ensure new features are included in sales and marketing materials and training.
- Assist with Customer Relationship Management "CRM" pipeline for all receivables products, reporting on opportunities through proposal, acceptance, implementation, and customer go live dates.
- Ensure key metrics are being met and design training programs to assist the Sales Team in understanding the value proposition of each product so as to build the sales pipeline and exceed customer expectations.
- Input into KPIs and developing concrete points of view on insights to present to leadership.
- Engage with Sales Team to define the business case and concept validation, as well as to gain insights and identify customer needs.
- Develop and deliver training plans to the Sales Team of product features, benefits, and value proposition.
- Clearly communicate goals, milestones, project responsibilities, and desired outcomes throughout the Bank and Customer experience.
- Design communications, marketing materials, and presentations for internal and external utilization.
- Appropriately assess risk exposure for the customer and bank for the best possible solutions.
Qualifications
- High school degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial services, accounting, or technology preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education is acceptable.
- 2-3 years of experience in Treasury Management Sales or Support, and/or Product Management/Development background strongly preferred, with the ability to concurrently manage and assess broad strategies and execute against multiple priorities.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail-oriented, with the ability to influence, collaborate and communicate across all levels and lines of business, internal resources, and external vendors.
- Ability to work in a very rapid, ever-changing, ambiguous environment. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to handle ambiguous and complex situations.
- Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; word processing, spreadsheet software programs required for Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $101,000.00 - $120,000.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary range for new hires is generally $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 for Denver, CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
