Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the medical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Instrument Test Tech, Instruments to join their team. As an Instrument Test Tech, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to quality assurance and system performance optimization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Intrument Test Tech

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $23.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization.
• Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues in test equipment.
• Analyze test results and data to determine pass/fail outcomes and provide solutions for failures.
• Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements to enhance instrument performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing to ensure quality standards are met.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency in reading drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and support continuous improvement initiatives.
