Technical Fraud Consultant – AML, KYC, Cyber, Fraud, Austin Our client is a VC-backed startup that has experienced remarkable growth in just a few years. Well-funded, with an exceptional client base they are only at the beginning of their journey. We are now seeking to onboard a Senior Technical Account Manager to be based in the US ideally in Austin. What You’ll Do Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, serving as their go-to fraud prevention expert Monitor and manage customer communications across multiple channels to deliver timely and effective solutions Act as a technical and strategic advisor by providing in-depth fraud analysis, best practices, and actionable recommendations Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction Develop and refine fraud detection rules to address emerging fraud trends with analytical precision Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex cases effectively Oversee technical configurations and implementations during customer onboarding to ensure a seamless experience Lead training sessions for new team members and contribute to key internal strategic initiatives What You’ll Bring 3+ years in Fraud, AML, Cybercrime, or Risk Management with a proven record as an Technical Account Manager, Professional Services or Consultant Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to identify patterns and analyze fraud trends. Experience with cloud-based software, APIs, and tools such as Slack, Postman, Jira, and service desk ticketing systems. Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and effectively. A collaborative mindset with a passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and continuous improvement.
