FirstPoint USA is seeking outstanding Talent Management Consultants to join a growing team and be responsible for a portfolio of clients, delivering both client care and support to help student-athletes and their families secure college placement aligned to their academic, athletic, and financial aspirations. With our ethos of providing every client with a first class, value-added service, a successful candidate will need to be a conscientious, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual. Provide a tailored, high-touch, concierge college placement service to our student-athletes and their families. Research, identify, and shortlist ‘best fit’ colleges and soccer programs in-line with the academic, athletic, and financial aspirations of our clients. Manage all aspects of the ‘scholarship journey’ on behalf of client and their family. To establish, nurture, and maintain a strong, sustainable network of college contacts within US collegiate soccer. Evaluate and support FirstPoint student-athletes and partner clubs at seasonal tournaments and events, such as MLS NEXT, ECNL, Girls Academy, EDP, USL Academy, et al. To provide a first-class customer service experience for our clients. Maintain excellent communications with our US college coach network and stay tuned into their recruitment needs. Managing the compliance & eligibility process for our clients. Support FirstPoint’s ‘College Evaluation Trials’ – planning, preparation, and implementation - within allocated scouting territory. Support the delivery of presentations to players and families both online and at partner club events to educate and inform of college soccer pathway / recruitment process. Collaborate with the Head of College Scouting to ensure ‘best fit’ collegiate opportunities are being secured for FirstPoint student-athletes, matching their academic, athletic, and financial needs. Support Director of Club Partnerships with the successful activation and integration of FirstPoint’s services at partner clubs within operational territory. Contribute to the continued development and growth of our US soccer recruitment. To stay abreast of NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA legislation changes across all divisions and implement effectively. Liaise effectively with other departments within FirstPoint regarding updates and client advancement through the FirstPoint USA program. Managing/organizing expectations of internal and external stakeholders Strive to reach and exceed set targets whilst maintaining quality. THE CANDIDATE Candidates will ideally have experience as an NCAA college coach (Head, Associate or Assistant) with a collegiate and / or professional playing background and expert knowledge of the college recruitment process. You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence to establish and manage relationships with clients and their families. You will have the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines in a highly challenging and demanding environment. You will have a proven track record of meeting targets and delivering results. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have the ability to work independently and manage own time effectively. You will be a highly motivated, positive, and resilient individual with an empathetic personality, able to effectively connect with a variety of audiences using your excellent written and verbal communications skills.
