Altus is looking for candidates to fill the role of SR Cloud Architect will provide global communications access and deliver persistent regional encrypted connectivity in support of warfighter missions around the globe and supporting our client SDA and their Tranche 1 project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports development, acquisition, execution and management of the SDA's government-owned, contractor-operated cloud environments
• Develops government reference cloud architectures and cost estimates to support the SDA's Cloud Center of Excellence initiatives
• Serves as the primary cloud SME for the SDA T1 program
• Supports execution of the O&I ground contract for T1

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math)
• Active Top-Secret clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
• Minimum 10 years direct related experience
• Prior experience with satellite acquisition, design and test
• Ability to evaluate contractor designs and support schedule/risk related issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
