Position: Systems Test Engineer (VoIP)
Location: Coppell, TX
Duration: 6mo Contract to Hire
A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer with a background in VoIP engineering to support a federal program in the Coppell, TX area. This role is supporting a large FAA program focused on modernizing voice communications within air traffic control. Responsibilities include:
- Deploying and testing IP based voice communication systems
- Support development plans according to program requirements
- Create and execute test cases
- Generate test reports, problem/defect reports, mitigation plans
- Work with the design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM)
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant
- 4+ years of Systems Test experience (executing test programs)
- Configuring and Analyzing VoIP networks
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Oracle), and VMs
- Ability to travel occasionally to project sites to assist with deployment
