Company Description

We are seeking an apprentice and an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a background in structural steel construction and miscellaneous metals.

Duties

- Utilize Tekla software to prepare accurate cost estimates for steel construction projects

- Manage project costs and ensure adherence to budget constraints

- Collaborate with construction teams to develop comprehensive project proposals

- Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information.

Qualifications (apprentice 1-2 years experience)

• Some experience in steel construction estimating or held a position that allows the understanding of it.
• Strong knowledge of steel construction principles
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications (experienced)

• Proven experience in Structural Steel and or Misc. Metals (5 or more years)
• Proficiency in Tekla or other software for cost estimation
• Strong knowledge of steel construction principles
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to meet timelines
