This individual is responsible for performing sterile processing procedures that include, decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and transportation of medical instrumentation/supplies/equipment and ancillary services to all requesting departments as required, under the supervision of the SSP Leadership.
Graduated from an Accredited Surgical Technology program or completed HSPA instrument of patient care certification program for CRCST/CIS or CBSPD.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or a Sterile Supply CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)/CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) or a CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution).

Shift: Afternoon. Rotating Weekends, Holidays and On-call.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week. 11am - 7:30pm.
All applicants must be able to train from 7:00a.m. 3:30p.m. Those who are hired in with no experience or certification will start at a lower pay scale and work towards advancement opportunities once certification is obtained.
