Base pay range $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Quixote Studios Job Summary: Quixote Studios is the entertainment industry's premier studio & equipment rental company and is looking for a Stage Manager to join the team! This position will be responsible for project management, studio production, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the industry, experienced, and has excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. What You’ll Do: Manage project logistics before, during, and after each project. Act as the primary contact and liaison between Quixote and clients. Deliver exceptional customer service to our clients throughout all touchpoints. Review call sheets to familiarize yourself with incoming clients for each stage. Open, close, flip, and maintain stages. Provide equipment assistance, fulfillment, and management. Complete rental record processing and track internal production supplies. Support clients with facility-related needs. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of stages and exterior areas. Report and respond to emergencies. Drive to deliver, drop off, or pick up equipment and support other client needs. Coordinate and communicate with other stage managers in preparation for clients. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of clients, staff, and studio information. Assist other stage managers, maintenance team, and receptionist. Troubleshoot, problem solve, and source gear as necessary. Perform basic handyman tasks and minor repairs. Perform other job-related duties as needed. What You’ll Need: 2+ years of prior experience in a similar role. Experience operating material handling equipment. Knowledge of Grip and Lighting equipment preferred. Must be flexible on shift times and locations. This is for a closing shift but can vary based on production. Effective communication and collaboration skills with management, clients, and team members. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to physically perform maintenance tasks as needed. Ability to work independently while demonstrating accuracy. Ability to anticipate needs and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Reliability, professionalism, and good judgment. Ability to perform duties safely and in line with company policies and procedures. Valid driver's license and excellent driving record as determined by the company's insurance carrier. Note: The selected candidate will need to complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening. Physical and Environmental Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs. Various physical activities including walking, standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and finger manipulation. Frequent repetitive movements. Work may include tours of property and construction sites, usually performed by walking and climbing stairs. Movement between departments required. Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Job Location: Pacoima, CA / Griffith Park, CA; travel to other LA studio locations as needed.
