The Core Platform team facilitates millions of API requests running the Core API Platform for Reddit. You have: Software development experience in Golang or Python 10+ years of experience with large-scale, mission-critical distributed systems. Media delivery expertise including experience with media quality of experience metrics and have successfully optimized media performance, scalability, and delivery by improving different stages of the media stack Working knowledge of CDN technologies (Fastly, Cloudfare, Cloudfront) to optimize video delivery Excellent communication skills. You partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with API platform service architectures.
