Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr Tableau Developer:
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Cloud
- Utilize Advanced SQL, Excel, and APIs for data integration and analysis
- Work with cloud databases (Azure & AWS) and scripting languages such as Python, R, and JavaScript
- Leverage BI tools like Power BI and Qlik
- Gather business requirements and troubleshoot issues as needed
Required Skills for Sr Tableau Developer:
- 5+ years of experience in developing dashboards using Tableau
- Proficiency in Advanced SQL, Excel, and APIs for data integration and analysis
- Experience with cloud databases (Azure & AWS) and scripting languages such as Python, R, and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI and Qlik
- Certification in Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional preferred
- Proven ability to visualize data and tell data-driven stories that translate into actionable insights
- Experience in financial forecasting, applying financial concepts to inform business strategy, and leveraging data science and statistical methods
